Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe

Description

Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe is a low viscous liquid designed for the conditioning of mixed NBR based compound rubber surfaces for better UV ink receptivity. Highly recommended when changing from conventional inks to all sorts of UV curable inks. Rollers and blankets treated with Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe will give instant fast and stable ink receptivity. By application of Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe, rubber surfaces will tend to reduce accumulation of LED-UV inks in the pores allowing blankets to be cleaned readily with regular UV washing agents. The product will also act as a protector.

Application:

Conditioning Ink Rollers

When changing from conventional ink apply the normal wash up procedure. Once the rollers are dry apply Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe on the rollers. Allow the Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe liquid to run in throughout the ink roller train for approx. 5 minutes. Ensure a complete and even wetting of the rollers. Remove the excess using a dry cloth and commence printing.

Conditioning Blankets

When changing from conventional ink apply the normal wash up procedure. Once the blankets are dry apply Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe on the blankets. Wipe over the blanket and ensure a complete and even wetting over the blanket surface. Remove the excess with a dry cloth and commence printing.

It is recommended to repeat the procedure each time inks are changed from conventional to UV inks. Applied as a protector the same procedure should be applied. In order to achieve a good result it is recommended to apply Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe every time the rubber surfaces have been cleaned thoroughly.

Westland recommends using Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe for conditioning rollers prior to UV, LED UV and HUV printing:

1. 4 hour running time with Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe
2. Normal wash up with suitable mix wash
3. 8 hours or one night down time
4. 4 hour running time with Revive Roller & Blanket Conditioner EPDM Safe
5. Normal wash up with suitable mix wash
6. Printing jobs with suitable LED UV inks
7. It would also be helpful to print jobs with high colour needs first
