Nonadhesive VARNICOMP SR is installed on press with the small bars like the calibrated papers. How to install the VARNICOMP SR adhesive: – Clean and degrease the cylinder surface – Strip a 15-20 cm polypropilene adhesive protection liner from the back of VARNICOMP SR clamp side Apply carefully VARNICOMP SR along the clamp edge, complete the liner removal with regularity and apply by hands from the center to the edges to eliminate air bubbles. The small pressure roll, when installed, will help the process, it is advisable to mount a VARNIPLATE on the cylinder and run some cylinder revolutions. VARNICOMP SR has got a soft compressible layer protecting from vibration and machine noise. VARNICOMP SR is easily replaceable form the cylinder at the end of press life.
VARNIPLATE 115 135 is available in 1.15mm and 1.35mm thickness with a stencil depth of 0.80mm and 1.00mm respectively
VARNIPLATE 115-135 is made of four transparent layers that allow direct copy of the original layout pattern.
- The top polyurethanic layer has an antistatic treatment to enable an easy sliding of the cutting blade and a strong repellency to ink build up
- A second polyurethanic layer
- These two layers have a strong chemical and mechanical resistance and an easy cut and peel
- An adhesive layer acting as a barrier against underneath coating penetration
- A 0.35 mm strong polyester base
