Since 2005 Elvis & Kresse have been rescuing raw materials, transforming them into luxury lifestyle goods and donating 50% of profits back to charities.

The business started with a single raw material, London Fire Brigade’s damaged decommissioned hoses, which were headed to landfill. Elvis & Kresse have since added a rather eclectic selection of other raw materials in order to extend their range of luxury handmade goods including parachute silk and banners from auction houses which both make an ideal lining, leather waste from Burberry, hessian coffee sacks, shoe boxes for packaging and labels, the inner coated foil of tea sacks and used printing blankets from bfs customers. bfs vehicles collect the used blankets from its customers and deliver them to Elvis & Kresse who clean them up, re-engineer them and create a new (vintage) raw material.

Elvis & Kresse now make twelve products from the printing blanket, combined with the fire-hose.

The donation made to the Fire Fighters Charity last year was for £13,873,Total donations to date are £85,310
