Technical Sales Manager (Midlands) – OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

BFS Pressroom Solutions Ltd. is a family run company, established in 1986, manufacturing and distributing specialist consumables used within the printing industry. We have a highly regarded reputation supplying technical high-quality products supported by excellent customer service.

Our product range includes:

Endura and Westland rubber rollers, Trelleborg & Conti-Air printing blankets, Folex & Kruse coating plates, Finito & Folex press packings, Prisco & ICON press chemistry/cleaning products.

The Role:

Manage the sales territory, technically support customers and introduce new products.

Identify new customers within the offset, flexo, dry-offset sectors of print and develop new roller business in a wide range of industrial sectors.

Individual:

Ideally located in the Midlands.

A comprehensive understanding of offset / flexo printing technologies.

Proactive and enthusiastic with a flair for identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Excellent solution selling skills.

A keen eye for detail together with strong oral, written and presentation skills.

 Confident in the use of CRM in order to maintain accurate customer records.

 

Salary/Package:

Salary negotiable and dependant on experience.

25 days holiday and public holidays.

Company car, phone, laptop and company credit card.

INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – POSITION APPOINTED

This Sales position requires someone who is proactive, ambitious, motivated, able to take initiative, and will pick up the phone and talk to customers and prospects. Confidence and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Negotiate and close new business opportunities
  • Follow up customer quotations and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Handle sales enquiries, generate quotations, and process orders

Individual

  • Strong communicator: confident, clear, concise, and professional in both verbal and written communications
  • Proven internal sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell where appropriate
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with customers
  • A positive “can-do” attitude
  • Customer focussed with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in dealing with business to business sales is preferable
  • Ability to work independently under own initiative

Depending on performance, there is potential to progress within the company’s sales structure.
