Blanket Packings

To compliment our printing blankets we offer a range of printing packings and underblankets.

Available in rolls or cut sheets, for plate and blanket cylinders and self adhesive non-slip plastic our printing packings and underblankets are suitable for virtually all press types including sheetfed, web offset and package printing operations.

True-Pack - High quality calibrated polyester films for underpacking offset cylinders

Available with or without extra strong adhesive, True-pack leaves no residue even after prolonged use. It is non slip and unaffected by humidity. True-Pack is exceptionally long lasting, easy to clean and does not swell. It Stores for up to 2 years. Available in thicknesses from 40 to 600 (my). Easy-Pack - Calibrated papers featuring a slip free surface

Designed for easy and accurate packing it can be cut to size and is available in rolls by request. Easy Pack is colour coded and suitable for virtually all printing presses. Thicknesses available from 50 to 500 (my). For full details please contact the BFS Sales team.

Finito - Designed to last up to six times longer than conventional packing

Finito replaces old underpacking blankets and calibrated papers, with an exclusive innovative material eliminating all the storage and management problems of conventional underpacking. Whilst slightly more expensive than traditional packing, the initial extra cost is a smart investment over a period of time. Finito boosts productivity by drastically reducing down time. Using the stick tear-off technology of its 0.05 mm polyester self-adhesive films, Finito enables the right thickness to be easily achieved. Finito is installed on the press just like underblankets and/or calibrated papers. The core structure is a modified TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), used in various thicknesses, calendered to a PES film (polyester). PES films can also be inserted inside the polymeric master.
